Eagle in the Sky

Meet the Eagle Nebula (Messier 16) located in the constellation of Serpens. This emission nebula can be seen with the naked eyes as a fuzzy patch along the Milky Way galactic core. It is known to contain several active star-forming gas and dust regions including the famous Pillars of Creation. The Eagle Nebula is located some 7,000 light years away from Earth. I will definitely be revisiting this beautiful target and try my hand at capturing the Pillars of Creation.
