Here is my 2022 version of the Rosette Nebula in the constellation of Monoceros (NGC 2237). As a recap, the Rosette Nebula is located about 5,219 light years away Earth. The nebula is a hydrogen emission region located in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way core, which is associated with the open star cluster in the center (NGC 2244). The below images show the progression from my very first attempt to capture this Rose, and subsequent versions. I am happy with the progress. It’s no doubt that I will continue to look up and experience an amazing Universe!
