It has been some time since I captured a detailed image of Earth’s lone satellite, the Moon. Well on the crisp Sunday afternoon of 26th February, 2023, the only object interrupting my view of a rare cloudless sky over my backyard was a 7-day old waxing moon. It just hung there showing off itโs splendor and dared me to capture it. Well I gave in to the pressure. Enjoy!

Very lovely indeed! I never get tired of the Moon there’s always something to see and find. My favorite was finding lunar volcanic domes! A little difficult navigating around the surface but with a good Moon map and some time it’s amazing how many of the craters you can actually remember by name! ๐ฏ๐๐ญ
We definitely have to get plan a sky viewing party for you ๐. You should be able to view the craters now right?
