The Sun has been really busy lately, including a number of X-rated flares. The sunspot number has been the highest for 23 years. We must be reaching solar maximum soon.
Thank you very much Roger. For months I haven’t seen a clear sky over here, so decided to really delve into the solar option just to keep shooting. I can’t say that I know how the surface has been in the past but you’re very correct; it has been pretty active. Lol, I have to research the meaning of solar maximum 🙂. All the best.
Gray scale is also an interesting perspective. I think it may be a little sharper in a few areas, but I have to say there’s something nice about the “natural color” version. Great shots! 👍👍😃
Top quality imaging.

I wish it were in color instead of Gray scale.
🙂 I presented the grayscale also because that was the starting point in the processing, but I’ll send you a copy of the colored version.

Thank you. Getting the hang of this. I prefer the color too 🙂. Well at least I’m able to shoot something. Clouds are the norm now 🤣
Yep, we are getting rain and clouds daily also. If it’s cloudy, you can’t even shoot the Sun ! LOL!
Imagine that 🤣🤣🤣
