Pleiades (Seven Sisters) are once again gracing my night skies early in the morning. I decided to try something new this season and use the dedicated astro camera to capture this beautiful cluster. After months of consistently cloudy nights, I finally got a few minutes of clear skies and was able capture eighteen 3-minute frames. The astro camera definitely helps to bring out the nebulosity of this cluster. I will definitely be chasing this target as the season progresses. Stay tuned!

Diamonds and pearls! My absolute favorite thing about this one is the interstellar dust. Makes for great texture on prints!
Yes it’s interesting to see the amount of dust the camera picks up. Definitely will continue using the astro camera for DSOs.
